9 New Vande Bharat Express Trains Linking Various Tourist Places

Vande Bharat Express is a semi-high-speed, self-propelled train set manufactured in India. The train includes cutting-edge passenger amenities, making travel faster, more comfortable, and more convenient for travellers. It was originally named Train 18 and was built at the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) in Chennai.

Initially, there were 25 Vande Bharat Express Trains and now with the addition of 9 more high-speed trains, the total number of Vande Bharat trains in operation across the country has reached 34.

Vande Bharat Express trains use 30% less energy than Shatabdi Express trains. The train has a top speed of 180 kilometres per hour and an operational speed of 130 kilometres per hour. The Vande Bharat Train has cutting-edge passenger facilities like bio-vacuum toilets, automatic doors, GPS-based passenger information systems, and onboard Wi-Fi. The Vande Bharat Train is self-propelled, which means it does not require a locomotive to pull it.
It has a total seating capacity of 1,128 passengers, including 56 executive seats and 1,072 non-executive seats. The Vande Bharat Trains’ exteriors are coated with an anti-graffiti vinyl covering, making them easy to clean and maintain.
